Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru concentrarea unui hibrid de metal alcalin într-o celula de combustie hibrida, bi sau tricompartimentata. Conform acestui procedeu solutii de hidroxide de metal alcalin sunt pompate si concentrate prin electroliza la anodul unei celule hibride bi-compartimentate, continând un compartiment anodic separat printr-o bariera de difuzie permeabila la cationi de un compartiment catodic, sau într-o alta celula tricompartimentata continând un compartiment anodic.
