Inventia se refera la un agitator orizontal folosit la camerele de reactie pentru favorizarea formarii flocoanelor, ca urmare a introducerii reactivilor, în vederea îmbunatatirii decantarii în cadrul statiilor de tratare a apei potabile si industriale. Agitatorul este format dintr-o colivie submersibila, prevazuta cu niste pale si niste discuri laterale, pe care sînt fixate niste roti conduse, prin intermediul carora colivia este suspendata de niste curele de transmisie trecute prin niste roti motoare, montate pe un arbore antrenat în miscare de un electromotor.
