Abstract

The invention relates to a playing field for football and other sports, such as: handball, volleyball, basketball, ice hockey and field hockey, american football, rugby, lawn tennis and polo, the playing surface being meant for a football game played simultaneously between three teams, and to a process for making said playing field. According to the invention, the field (1) has the shape of a star polygon having three equal arms, divided by three equal central lines (a), meeting in the center (c) of the field (1) according to the angles (alpha) of 120°, into three equal playing surfaces (b), one surface for each team, the playing field (1) being confined at its external part by six equal side lines (d), meeting two by two, thereby forming the angles (beta) of 120° and three equal goal lines (e), each goal line having some optional marks (k) at its ends and a goal (4) fixed at its middle, the side lines (d) meeting the goal lines (e), thereby forming the angles (gamma) of 90°, in six points representing the corners of the playing field (1) which are marked with the compulsory flags (2) and the circular arcs (f), each central line (a) meeting the side lines (d), thereby forming the angles (delta) of 120°, in three points which are marked with the optional flags (3).
