Abstract
This is an improvement or change in tennis racket's strings position from the middle of the racket frame to the side of the tennis racket frame. An improvement in tennis racket to allow the player to create more and faster ball spins and to reduce errors in the game. A tennis racket with strings on both the sides of the frame, or only on one side of the tennis racket frame is my invention.
If not acceptable to the tennis authorities or player, a tennis racket frame with cross section diamond shape to allow the manufacturer to make the smallest possible size of tennis racket frame, so that players can create more and faster ball spins and reduce errors in their games.
Description
- This invention is to improve a tennis racket to create more or faster ball spins, to make it harder for the opponent to return the ball. It will also reduce the chance or degree of error if the ball hit the racket frame or hit near the racket frame. Tennis players always want more weapons and with as much as possible zero error to always win games.
- Tennis racket is a sports implement, used to play tennis. Tennis racket consist of a handle and an oval frame with a tightly interlaced network of strings, used to strike a tennis ball.
- A good tennis player must try to put spin on almost every shot. A good tennis player need to direct the ball to land in the part of the court that he/she want, otherwise it will go off and do its own thing. To impart spin, player needs to brush around the ball with the racket, rather than hit through it. With my invention, the brushing around the ball with the racket will no longer be limited by the tennis frame.
FIGS. 7 and 8 in the drawings illustrate it more. Tennis rackets available today have strings in the middle of the racket frame, that brushing around the ball to create ball spins is limited by the frame. - This is an improvement or change in tennis racket's strings position from the middle of the racket frame to the side of the tennis racket frame. The holes for strings in the frame of the tennis racket must be at the sides of the frame. If there is a rule in tennis preventing to use a double layered strings racket, then the holes on both sides of the racket must be on alternating position to satisfy the tennis rule. Or the holes for the strings in the frame of the tennis racket, only on one side of the frame.
FIGS. 1, 2, and 3 in the drawings illustrates it more. - Holes at the side of the tennis racket is a good improvement, but strings can also be wrap around the side of the tennis racket frame.
FIG. 4 in the drawings illustrates it more. - One more way, is to remove half of the frame to expose the strings and reinforce the remaining racket frame, so that it will be the same racket frame strength as the original tennis racket.
FIG. 5 in the drawings illustrates it more. - If still not acceptable to the tennis authorities or the player, then tennis racket frame need reshaping to reduce its size. Tennis racket frame, cross section diamond shape is my invention. Tennis racket frame with cross section diamond shape will allow the manufacturer to make the smallest possible size of tennis racket frame. Diamond edges need to be rounded not pointed. Frame specific dimensions depend on material strength that will be use. The smaller the size of the frame, the better.
FIG. 6 in the drawings illustrates it more. -
FIG. 1 is a front view of a tennis racket with strings on the side of the racket frame. -
FIG. 2 is a front and side view of a tennis racket with strings on both sides of the racket frame. -
FIG. 3 is a front and side view of a tennis racket with strings on one side of the racket frame. -
FIG. 4 is a front and side view of a tennis racket with strings on one side of the racket frame, and the strings wrap around the racket frame. -
FIG. 5 is a front and side view of a tennis racket with strings on one side of the racket frame. Racket frame is cut half to expose the strings. -
FIG. 6 is a front view of a tennis racket with smaller size frame, diamond shape cross section. -
FIGS. 7 and 8 are tennis rackets available and being use today has strings in the middle of the racket frame, that brushing around the ball to create ball spins is limited by the frame.
