Abstract

A deck of fantasy sports cards simulating fantasy sports season with indicia thereon that represents actual players or drivers in actual teams, that provide statistics of the individual players or drivers for 17 weeks of the previous season and projected statistics for the upcoming season.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention relates generally to player cards that have its origins in sporting events, such as professional baseball, hockey, basketball, football, and racing games. More particularly, the present invention relates to player cards, which has two sides: one consisting the likeness of the player or driver and the other side consisting of week by week statistics for 17 weeks, team name, and position.
  • There are numerous sport player cards, which correspond to sporting events, such as football, basketball, and the like
  • The present invention contemplates a provision of player cards that has its basis in and utilizes terminology of professional baseball, hockey, basketball, football, and racing. The present invention seeks to capitalize on a rapidly growing industry called “Fantasy Sports” in which people pay to join leagues over the internet. Each of the leagues members draft professional players or drivers to be on their team and receive points based on their drafted player's performance each week of the season.
  • I have invented player cards titled “Fantasy Player Cards” in which consists of a deck of cards projecting what the players' or drivers' stats will be in their next season, as well as for their previous season.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is, therefore, an object of the present invention to produce decks of specially imprinted cards corresponding to the terminology of American sports. These cards are to display likenesses of actual professional sport players or drivers and also displaying their weekly statistics for a previous season, and their projected weekly statistics for a future season.
  • BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 a displays the likeness of the player or driver, the name of the player or driver, and the team name of the player or driver.

  • DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • It is envisioned that the player cards can be easily adapted for various sports, such as basketball, soccer, hockey, etc.
  • Many other changes and modifications may be made to the present invention without departing from the spirit thereof. I, therefore, pray that my rights to the present invention be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.

Claims (2)

1. Providing a deck of fantasy sports cards with indicia thereon representative of actual sports players or drivers.
2. A deck of cards with indicia thereon representative of sports players or drivers, score points achieved by the players or drivers during a previous playing season and sports players' respective position in actual teams; and projected statistics for a future season.
