Abstract

The process comprises deposition on the product, e.g. external clothing, of a soln. contg. 10-20% of sodium salt of hydroxy-methane-sulphinic acid at ambient temp.. After at least three mins. the temp. is raised to 102-103 deg. by saturated steam. The final washing is carried out under standard conditions.
