DESCRIÇÃO "FITA DE MATERIAL TÊXTIL LIGADA DE MANEIRA A FORMAR UM ANEL E DESTINADA, EM ESPECIAL, A SERVIR DE FITA DE CÓS" [0001] A invenção refere-se a uma fita de material têxtil fechada sobre si própria de maneira a formar um anel, destinada, em especial, a servir de fita de cós para a confecção de cuecas ou de peças de vestuário afins, bem como a um processo para o fabrico de uma tal fita.
[0002] Na confecção de cuecas para senhora, homem e criança liga-se habitualmente, por cosedura, uma fita elástica com uma costura extensível para servir de fita de cós. Para este efeito a fita de cós pode ser pré-confeccionada sob a forma de um produto semiacabado com a configuração de um anel fechado sobre si próprio por meio de uma costura cosida, sendo a fita então cosida na margem superior das cuecas ou então faz-se aduzir aquela fita à máquina de costura, sob a forma de fita contínua, com um determinado comprimento, para ser pregada e simultaneamente cosida à orla superior dessas cuecas no decurso do processo de fabrico.
[0003] A fita de cós é na maioria dos casos constituída por um troço de uma banda de material, cuja elasticidade é a consequência dos fios elásticos incorporados que servem de fios de urdidura. Para assegurar a durabilidade da ligação das duas extremidades do troço, que formam um anel fechado, reveste-se de especial importância a incorporação tanto quanto possível completa na ligação pretendida de pelo menos os fios de urdidura. Até agora só era possível obter uma ligação durável sempre que as duas extremidades de fita eram cosidas com sobreposição.~Se bem que um troço de sobreposição deste tipo seja habitualmente localizado na parte das costas das cuecas, esse troço representa no entanto um ponto de descontinuidade que interrompe a extensão contínua da fita de cós elástica, descontinuidade essa que pode provocar mar- 1
cas no corpo e se torna visível quando usado por baixo de vestuário leve.
[0004] Também já houve tentativas de criar nas extremidades de uma tal fita de cós, cosendo ao longo de uma zona mais larga junto das extremidades da fita, uma junta topo a topo com concordância de arestas. Uma vez que estas costuras de ligação só podem no entanto estender-se ao longo de um comprimento bastante curto para dentro da área normal da fita, não se pode assegurar sob quaisquer condições que todos os fios elásticos de urdidura sejam incorporados de maneira bem segura na costura. Por este motivo as soluções deste tipo não se conseguiram impor na prática.
[0005] Fundamentalmente são já bem conhecidas a separação e a ligação de materiais à base de substâncias fibrosas termoplásticas com o auxílio de ferramentas metálicas e mediante a aplicação de temperatura elevada ou de ultra-sons (ver a patente US-4-327 448). Durante o corte de separação obtém-se uma soldadura dos cantos com o inconveniente de haver arestas vivas. Durante a ligação as peças a soldar encontram-se sobrepostas em duas ou mais camadas.
[0006] Outro inconveniente relacionado com a pré-confecção destas fitas de cós reside no facto de se tornar necessário pré-confeccionar e manter separadamente em armazém fitas de cós com diferentes medidas. É então necessário recorrer durante a confec-ção das cuecas àquele armazém para obter fitas com a medida cor-recta. Isto não só requer a existência de um stock bastante volumoso, como também uma correspondente estrutura organizativa.
[0007] Perante este pano de fundo a invenção tem o objectivo de encontrar uma possibilidade de permitir obter uma junção topo a topo fiável e com concordância de arestas das extremidades de uma fita de cós do tipo em questão e também de conseguir na medida do possível uma pré-confecção racional daquelas fitas. 2
[0008] De acordo com a invenção, este objectivo atinge-se pela adopção de uma fita fechada sobre si própria em forma de anel com as cara.cterísticas enunciadas na reivindicação 1.
[0009] Um processo adequado para o fabrico de uma tal fita encontra-se revelado na reivindicação 2.
[0010] Aperfeiçoamentos vantajosos da invenção encontram-se expostos nas reivindicações secundárias.
[0011] A vantagem da invenção baseia-se no facto de as fitas elásticas predominantemente utilizadas nesta área conseguirem a sua elasticidade principalmente pela utilização de fibras de matéria sintética na urdidura, fibras essas que apresentam propriedades termoplásticas, motivo pelo qual podem ser soldadas pela aplicação de ultra-sons ou de calor. A invenção também se aplica evidentemente a fitas não elásticas feitas de um material semelhante ao acima descrito.
[0012] Assim, consegue-se, dobrando um troço de fita de modo a formar um laço e após sobreposição das duas extremidades do troço, ligar por soldadura estas extremidades mediante a aplicação de pressão, acompanhado de um corte de separação completo junto das extremidades sobrepostas, de tal maneira que ao desdobrar o laço as duas extremidades que anteriormente foram soldadas em sobreposição tomam uma posição estendida, ficando deste modo soldadas topo a topo e com concordância de arestas. Principalmente nos casos em que os fios da urdidura e da trama formam uma teia apertada, consegue-se de acordo com a invenção uma soldadura tão completa de todos os fios que o local de ligação pode, após o desdobrar do laço, ser submetido a um esforço de tracção na direcção longitudinal da fita. Deste modo consegue-se obter uma ligação praticamente invisível, que de qualquer das maneiras não se nota, das duas extremidades* de um troço de fita disposto de maneira a formar um anel fechado. 3
~7 [0013] Uma outra vantagem da invenção reside no facto de esta soldadura poder ser efectuada directamente numa banda de material continuo com uma qualquer largura, que é desenrolada a partir de um tambor, de modo que as fitas de cós podem de certa maneira ser fabricadas com as medidas necessárias no local da sua utilização, evitando-se assim uma armazenagem de fitas pré-confeccionadas. Além disso consegue-se deste modo simultaneamente uma poupança de material, dado que já não se torna necessário prever uma sobreposição das extremidades.
[0014] A invenção será de seguida explicada mais em pormenor mediante o desenho, que nas fig. 1, 2 e 3 mostra em cortes verticais esquemáticos as fases consecutivas do fabrico da fita de acordo com a invenção.
[0015] Na fig. 1 encontra-se esquematicamente representado a maneira como a partir de uma banda de material 2 desenrolada de um tambor no sentido da seta 1 se dobra um troço 3 de fita elástica de maneira a formar um laço. Para esse efeito o tramo superior 3a é assente à face sobre o tramo inferior 3b, sendo a extremidade 4 recuada, em conformidade com a medida da fita anular a produzir até ao ponto de separação seguinte situado junto do eixo de separação 5, esboçado a traço e ponto. A zona da banda continua de material em que a camada é dupla é então levada para a zona de actuação de uma ferramenta metálica que actua por via térmica sobre a fita de material, podendo tratar-se designadamente de um aparelho de soldadura por ultra-sons 6, que na fig. 1 se encontra unicamente esboçado por meio de um sonotrodo 6a e de um contra-apoio 6b. Na sua parte superior virada para a banda de material 2 o contra-apoio 6b tem uma secção transversal em forma de triângulo para permitir não só uma soldadura da fita continua como também um corte de separação da mesma.
[0016] Fazendo descer o sonotrodo 6a no sentido da seta 7, aduz-se energia ao material que se encontra localizado entre o sono- 4 trodo 6a e o contra-apoio 6b, energia essa que conduz ao desenvolvimento de calor e deste modo a uma soldadura dos fios de matéria sintética incorporados na banda continua de material 2. A costura de soldadura que liga as duas extremidades de fita sobrepostas encontra-se designada por 8 na fig. 2, que além disso mostra a situação após a soldadura e o corte de separação. Deste modo as duas extremidades do laço 3 encontram-se ligadas de modo a formarem um anel.
[0017] Seguidamente o anel pode ser desdobrado. Isto faz com que as extremidades de fita, que anteriormente ainda, se encontravam sobrepostas, passam a ter uma posição estendida (fig. 3), na qual as extremidades formam uma junção topo a topo, com concordância de arestas. A ligação criada pela actuação de um dispositivo de soldadura numa . direcção perpendicular à da fita estende-se por toda a espessura da fita, podendo esta por isso ser sujeita a um esforço de tracção na direcção longitudinal, após o desdobramento da dita fita.
[0018] Para aumentar a duração da costura de soldadura, e isto por razões que se prendem com as propriedades do próprio material, é possível soldar ainda consigo própria a fita contínua de material nas zonas imediatamente contíguas à costura de soldadura 8, o que faz com que os fios de urdidura sejam ainda mais ligados uns com os outros. A esta soldadura está associada uma pressão aplicada perpendicularmente em relação ao plano da fita, de modo a deixar marcas em baixo relevo sobre a mesma, que podem também ter um efeito ornamental.

Claims (6)

  1. REIVINDICAÇÕES 1. Banda de material têxtil fechada sobre si própria de maneira a formar um anel, destinada, em especial, a servir de fita de cós para a confecção de cuecas ou de peças de vestuário afins, fita essa que pelo menos parcialmente é constituída por fibras termoplásticas fusíveis, caracterizada por as extremidades da fita constituída por um troço (3) de uma banda contínua de material (2) serem soldadas uma à outra topo a topo e com concordância de arestas.

Processo para o fabrico de uma fita de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado por as duas extremidades de um troço de fita (3) serem sobrepostas, formando um laço, ao longo de um comprimento que corresponde à medida da banda a produzir, sendo então ligadas uma à outra por soldadura a uma distância reduzida das arestas terminais, ao que se efectua simultaneamente um corte de separação junto do local da soldadura (8), sendo finalmente o laço desdobrado para formar um anel.
  3. 3. Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 2, caracterizado por o troço de banda (3) ainda se encontrar fixado à extremidade de uma banda de material (2) e ser separado por corte junto desta banda, operação esta que se efectua em simultâneo com a soldadura.
  4. 4. Processo de acordo com as reivindicações 2 ou 3, caracterizado por a soldadura e o corte de separação se efectuarem pela aplicação de ultra-sons.
  5. 5. Processo de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações 2 a 4, caracterizado por após o desdobramento do laço a banda de material ser adicionalmente soldada à face de ambos os lados da costura de soldadura. 1
