THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE RELATES TO ISOLATED OR ARTIFICIAL NUCLEOTIDE SEQUENCES ENCODING THE PROTEIN KINASE, MEMBRANE-ASSOCIATED TYROSINE/THREONINE 1 (PKMYT1), FOR USE IN REGENERATIVE MEDICINE, PREFERABLY FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF SPINAL CORD INJURY. FURTHERMORE, THE PRESENT INVENTION IS ALSO RELATED TO A VECTOR COMPRISING SUCH SEQUENCE, A HOST CELL COMPRISING SUCH VECTOR, A PROTEIN PKMYT1, OR A COMPOSITION THEREOF, FOR USE IN REGENERATIVE MEDICINE, PREFERABLY FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF SPINAL CORD INJURY.
