A TAMPA É COLOCADA SOBRE A CAIXA NUM ENCAIXE À MEDIDA E FIXADA NA POSIÇÃO POR DEFORMAÇÃO DAS BORDAS DA CAIXA. NA REFERIDA TAMPA AS DOBRAS (D1, D2) SÃO NA DIREÇÃO PARALELA AO LADO MAIS PEQUENO E CONSISTEM EM SEMICÍRCULOS (2) DE 2 MM DE DIÂMETRO QUANDO A TAMPA ESTÁ ARRUMADA. ESTA TAMPA É TERMOFORMADA EM PET OU PVC A UMA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 180ºC E 250ºC E EM QUE A DEFORMAÇÃO É FEITA POR VÁCUO NA ZONA QUE VAI SER DOBRADA (D1 E D2), SENDO DEFORMADA TAMBÉM NOUTRAS ZONAS (A1, A2, A3, A4) DE MODO A MAXIMIZAR A RESISTÊNCIA MECÂNICA DA TAMPA.
