Description

Oddzialywanie to, osiaga sie dzieki stosunkowo niskiej temperaturze topnienia i optymalnym wlasnosciom fizycznym srodka jak: napiecie powierzchniowe, napiecie miedzyfazowe i lepkosc. Przyklad. Wsad metalowy, skladajacy sie z drobnokawalkowego zlomu, wieloskladnikowego stopu aluminium AK64 topi sie w piecu indukcyjnym tyglowym, pod pokryciem srodka, wedlug wynalazku.2 91 916 Srodek pokrywajaco-rafinujacy o skladzie: 40% wagowych chlorku potasowego 38% wagowych chlorku sodowego 14% wagowych kriolitu 6% wagowych fluorku sodu 2% wagowych fluorytu wstanie sproszkowanym, wprowadza sie porcjami na przemian z wsadem metalowym. Srodek ten dodawany w ilosci okolo 3% wagowych w stosunku do masy wsadu, topi sie, pokrywajac ciekly metal scisla powloka.W przypadku zastosowania wsadu metalowego o wiekszej kawalkowatosci i mniejszym stopniu zanieczyszczenia wprowadza sie mniejsza ilosc srodka pokrywajaco-raf inujacego. PLThe subject of the invention is a coating-refining agent, used in the technology of preparation of liquid metal of aluminum and its alloys. Various coating-refining agents are known, consisting of substances such as: sodium chloride, potassium chloride, cryolite, fluorite mixed in various proportions. The intensity and effectiveness of the interaction of these agents is limited by the low ability to absorb oxides and other non-metallic impurities from the liquid metal. Moreover, these agents are characterized by a relatively high melting point and a high interfacial tension between the agent - oxides. «The most commonly used liquid metal protection and removal agent is a flux, which contains 47% by weight of potassium chloride, 30% of sodium chloride and 23% of cryolite. about 7% by weight based on the weight of the metal charge. So far, an agent consisting of a mixture of more than the three substances mentioned above has not been used. ¦ The aim of the invention is to develop an agent protecting the metal against the influence of the furnace atmosphere, increasing the metallurgical yield and liquid refining aluminum alloys. The essence of the invention is a coating-refining agent for melting aluminum and its alloys, containing 30-55% by weight of sodium chloride, 30-55% of potassium chloride, 5-20% of cryolite, 1-10% of fluorspar and 1-10% of sodium fluoride. Pokryw The coating-refining agent, according to the invention, guarantees good coverage of the liquid metal and causes the thorough removal of oxides and non-metal inclusions from the metal bath. This interaction is achieved due to the relatively low melting point and optimal physical properties of the agent, such as: surface tension, interfacial tension and viscosity. As a result of the use of an agent for melting scrap aluminum and its alloys, a significant reduction in the return loss of the metal, by about 3% by weight, and an improvement in the quality of alloys are obtained. The metal charge, consisting of a fine piece of scrap metal, AK64 multi-component aluminum alloy, is melted in a crucible induction furnace, under the cover of the center, according to the invention. Cryolite 6% by weight of sodium fluoride 2% by weight of powdered fluorspar is introduced in portions alternately with the metal charge. This agent, added in an amount of about 3% by weight of the mass of the batch, melts, covering the liquid metal with a tight coating. When using a metal charge with a larger chunk and less contamination, a smaller amount of coating-reef investment is introduced. PL
