Argon doprowadzony jest przewodem do dna w kadzi lejniczej. W wymurówce dna kadzi lejniczej umieszczony jest korek gazoprzepuszczalny jednorazowego uzytku przez który przechodzi argon do wnetrza.Istota wynalazku jest plyta podwlewnicowa do argonowania stali we wlewnicy zbudowana z podstawy, w której w górnej czesci symetrycznie we wglebieniu zamocowany jest na zaprawie korundowej z dodatkiem kwasu fosforowego korek z materialu korundowego. W dolnej czesci plyty umieszczony jest przewód z doply¬ wem argonu, przy czym koncówka wylotowa przewodu styka sie bezposrednio z korkiem korundowym. • Plyta podwlewnicowa do argonowania stali, zbudowana wedlug wynalazku, posiada ta zalete, ze moze byc uzywana wielokrotnie.Przedmiot wynalazku jest przedstawiony w przykladzie wykonania na rysunku, który jest pionowym przekrojem osiowym plyty podwlewnicowej do argonowania stali.Plyta sklada sie z podstawy 1 w której symetrycznie w górnej czesci znajduje sie wglebienie, a w nim zamurowany jest na zaprawie korundowej 2 korek 3 z materialu korundowego.
