Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób otrzymywania wodnego roztworu selenku alkalicznego. Selenek alka¬ liczny stosowany jest jako jeden z produktów wyjsciowych przy otrzymywaniu pólprzewodników selenkowych stosowanych w warstwach elektrofotograficznych.Znany sposób otrzymywania wodnego roztworu selenku alkalicznego polega na nasyceniu wodnego roztwo¬ ru wodorotlenku metalu alkalicznego gazowym selenowodorem. Sposób ten daje produkt spelniajacy wymagania surowca do produkcji selenków, ale stosowanie go jest ograniczone ze wzgledu na silnie toksyczne wlasnosci selenowodoru.Sposób wedlug wynalazku polega na tym, ze metaliczny selen poddaje sie redukcji metalicznym glinem w wodnym roztworze wodorotlenku metalu alkalicznego. W sposobie wedlug wynalazku do wodnego roztworu metalu alkalicznego dodaje sie rozdrobniony metaliczny selen, a nastepnie podczas ciaglego mieszania dodaje sie porcjami metaliczny glin, przy czym mieszanie kontynuuje sie do calkowitego rozpuszczenia selenu i glinu.Tak otrzymane wodne roztwory zawierajace selenek metali szczególnie selenków arsenu i kadmu, wykazuja- wlasnosci fotoelektryczne i stosowane sa do sporzadzenia warstw elektrofotograficznych.Przyklad. 120 g stalego wodorotlenku sodu rozpuszczono w 1 litrze wody i po ostudzeniu tak otrzy¬ manego roztworu dodano 117 g drobno sproszkowanego metalicznego selenu. Nastepnie podczas ciaglego mie¬ szania dodano malymi porcjami 28 g metalicznego glinu. Mieszanine reakcyjna mieszano az do calkowitego rozpuszczenia selenu i glinu. PL
