PL PLThe grate, according to the attached drawing, is intended for water-tube boilers as a movable chain grate and it burns mainly the finest and cheapest types of fuel. For combustion, compressed air is blown under the grate by a turbine fan. The grate is characterized by its upper edges form air channels, with a strictly defined shape, close to the letter Z, preventing the passage of unburned fuel particles, but still making the surface completely smooth.
