Description
Powloka ta umozliwia równiez i mycie przedmiotów. Przedmio¬ ty powyzszego rodzaju moga byc równiez w znany sposób zaopatrywane we wkladki z drutu albo w przeguby, umozliwiajace nadawanie gotowym przedmiotom okreslo¬ nych pozycyj poszczególnych czesci, po¬ niewaz zas powloka kauczukowa jest ela¬ styczna, wiec dostosowuje sie dobrze do rozmaitych tych pozycyj. PL PLIt is known that from glue, gelatin, vegetable mucus and similar colloidal substances with the addition of glycerin, oily natural or artificial products, it is possible to produce flexible dolls, figures for display windows or the like. Objects of this kind are fixed to their surface with known agents such as formaldehyde, chromates, tannins and similar substances. They may be freely colored or shaded and would have a wide range of applications if they were not subject to adverse weathering effects which are detrimental to both their appearance and durability. Moreover, many of their applications are hindered by their unpleasant, lifeless appearance. The above drawbacks would be overcome by giving the items of this kind a durable coating which gives a positive impression. For this purpose, a suitable rubber or a similar mass has been found. This type of rubber coating has already found application in the production of objects from other masses, but in the production of figures from the mass described above, they have remarkable advantages. When heating objects of the type described, for example into a solution of rubber, it is completely formed. tightly adhering coating, preventing the influence of atmospheric atmospheres such as moisture, dryness, acid attack, etc. This coating also makes it possible to clean items. Known agents such as gasoline, benzol, carbon sulfide, etc. are used as rubber solvents. to which it is advisable to add small amounts of alcohol in this case. Coatings can also be produced with great advantage in that the objects, without any prior processing, are exposed to raw or moistened rubber milk. In the latter case, a very good and firmly adherent coating is achieved if the objects in question are treated with salt solutions which cause the loss of rubber. The coatings can be colored or vulcanized in a known manner. Objects of the above type can also be provided with wire inserts or with joints in a known manner, enabling the finished objects to be given specific positions of individual parts, since the rubber coating is flexible, so that it adapts well to the various positions. Figures according to the present invention may be manufactured empty or with inserted cores of wood, cardboard and the like to which the mass adheres. PL PL
