The registration right for the ornamental design has been in effect since May 14, 1999. The subject of the ornamental design is a 100-square chessboard and chess pieces on such a chessboard. The essence of the ornamental design is a new form of the object, manifesting itself in its shape and line arrangement. The subject of the ornamental design is shown in the attached photograph, which shows a chessboard with chess pieces in a perspective view. According to the ornamental design, the chessboard has alternating squares in contrasting colors. On the perimeter of the chessboard are numerical and letter markings for the columns and rows, as well as two sets of chess pieces in contrasting colors: king, queen, rooks, bishops, and knights, preceded by pawns and arranged in the traditional order.
