Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest rekombinowane białko o właściwościach przeciwbakteryjnych o sekwencji aminokwasowej o co najmniej 80% identyczności z sekwencją domeny M23 z Streptococcus thermophilus o charakterze hydrolazy peptydoglikanowej, korzystnie w postaci rekombinowanej chimery białkowej, jak również kompozycje je zawierające, ich zastosowania oraz sposoby je wykorzystujące. Wynalazek oparty jest o rekombinowane białka będące hydrolazą peptydoglikanową o właściwościach peptydazy — wywodzące się z domeny M23 pochodzącej ze Streptococcus thermophilus wykazujące szczególną wysoką specyficzność do bakterii Gram (+) z bezpośrednim mostkiem w peptydoglikanie i ujawnia białka rekombinowanej chimery białkowej, takie jak LB24 zawierającej dodatkowo domenę wiążącą ścianę komórkową bakterii CWT z Staphylococcus pettenkoferi.
