Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest aktywna forma AurR, będąca - hydrolazą peptydoglikanową - zdolną do trawienia ścian bakterii Gram(+) posiadających mostki sieciujące w peptydoglikanie zbudowane z glicyny i/lub glicyny i seryny, kompozycje ją obejmujące, ich zastosowania oraz sposób hydrolizy peptydoglikanów. Aktywna forma białka AurR, przełamuje oporność bakterii Gram(+) wobec znanych enzymów zdolnych jedynie do hydrolizy ścian komórkowych z glicynowymi mostkami sieciującymi w peptydoglikanie i trawi ściany komórkowe z mostkami sieciującymi glicynowo-serynowymi.
