Wskaźnik do monitorowania temperatury zawierający element ciekłokrystaliczny reagujący na zmiany temperatury oraz co najmniej jeden środek mocujący (4) do umieszczania wskaźnika w miejscu, w którym dokonywany jest odczyt temperatury, charakteryzuje się tym, że element ciekłokrystaliczny reagujący na zmiany temperatury ma postać folii termowrażliwej (1) stanowiącej warstwę bazową wskaźnika, przy czym folia termowrażliwa (1) przylega do powierzchni miejsca, w którym dokonywany jest odczyt temperatury tylko częścią swojej powierzchni.
