Abstract
Elektrostatyczny filtr powietrza połączony ze źródłem wysokich napięć, zawierający kanał przepływu powietrza (1) mający wlot i wylot, w którym od strony wlotu powietrza znajduje się generator jonów (2) zawierający co najmniej jedną elektrodę ulotową (3) i co najmniej jedną elektrodę zbiorczą (4), przy czym zarówno elektrody ulotowe (3) jak i elektrody zbiorcze (4) są połączone elektrycznie ze sobą, zaś elektrody zbiorcze (4) są odizolowane od elektrod ulotowych (3), tak że między elektrodami ulotowymi (3) i elektrodami zbiorczymi (4) wskutek różnicy potencjałów mogą zachodzić wyładowania koronowe powodujące jonizację cząstek zanieczyszczeń znajdujących się w przepływającym przez kanał (1) powietrzu, charakteryzuje się tym, że za generatorem jonów (2) w kanale przepływu powietrza (1) znajduje się separator cząstek zanieczyszczeń (6) zawierający elektrodę wejściową (7) i umieszczoną w odstępie od niej elektrodę wylotową (8), przy czym obie te elektrody umożliwiają przepływ przez nie powietrza w kierunku od elektrody wejściowej (7) do elektrody wyjściowej (8) i dalej do wylotu kanału (1), zaś podczas pracy filtra między elektrodami ulotowymi (3) a elektrodą wejściową (7) istnieje różnica potencjałów i między elektrodą wejściową (7) a elektrodą wylotową (8) istnieje różnica potencjałów, tak że natężenie pola elektrycznego w przestrzeni (9) między elektrodą wejściową (7) i elektrodą wylotową (8) jest skierowane przeciwnie do natężenia pola elektrycznego w przestrzeni między generatorem jonów (2) i elektrodą wejściową (7).
