Wieloskladnikowy katalizator tlenkowy do niskotemperaturowego utleniania metanu zawierajacy kobalt, ma strukture podwójnego tlenku kobaltu(II) i (III). W jego sklad wchodza jony kobaltu w ilosci 30 - 70% wag., jony niklu w ilosci do 25% wag., promujace ilosci metali ziem alkalicznych w ilosci 0 - 10% wag., oraz jony tlenkowe w ilosci 10 - 40%. Wynalazek obejmuje takze sposób wytwarzania katalizatora.
