The essence of the industrial design is a new form of the object, manifested in its shape and decorations. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached illustration, which shows a sofa in Fig. 1 in a front and side view. A variation of the sofa according to the industrial design is shown in the attached illustration, in which Fig. 2 shows an armchair. The sofa according to the industrial design has a seat supported by a plinth, a backrest supported by the rear wall, and side backrests. The seat plinth is in the form of an elongated board with an arc-shaped undercut on the lower edge. The seat placed on the plinth is divided into two equal parts, with the seat height slightly less than the plinth height. The central section of the plinth features a vertical decorative stitching line. The backrest of the sofa, supported by the rear wall, is formed by two equal-sized rectangular cushions with slightly rounded corners. The side backrests, following an industrial design, are constructed of thick rectangular-shaped panels, with straight and vertical side lines. The side backrests are profiled from above in the form of gentle arcs rising slightly upwards to a rounded corner at the front, and are cut from behind by the vertical side line of the back edge. The side backrest panels have arc-like undercuts at the bottom. The arcs of the curved upper edges and the undercuts are unequal. The thickness of the side backrest panels is less than the thickness of the seat. The front surfaces and the top surfaces of the side backrests are slightly rounded, with their trailing edges having decorative corner stitching, as shown in the attached drawings Fig. 1, and in the attached color illustration Fig. 1.
