Description

Znane sa juz urzadzenia do suszenia wegla lub t. p., w których para ogrze¬ wajaca doprowadzana bywa do talerzy suszacych, umieszczonych jeden nad dru¬ gim, za posrednictwem wydrazonych slupów, zaopatrzonych w scianki prze¬ dzialowe.Otrzymanie regularnego krazenia pa¬ ry ogrzewajacej w tych urzadzeniach sprawia takie trudnosci, ze urzadzenia te nie zapewnialy jakichkolwiek mini¬ malnych korzysci ekonomicznych. Glów¬ na przyczyne tego stanowi miedzy in- nemi dosyc znaczna ilosc zuzywanej pa¬ ry o wzglednie wysokiem cisnieniu, któ¬ ra wymaga zwykle, w celu otrzymania regularnego pradu, stosowania dmucha¬ wy strumieniowej.Te niedogodnosci usuwa suszarka, stanowiaca przedmiot niniejszego wyna¬ lazku. 3 i 4 dwa sposoby wykonania talerzy do suszenia wraz z urzadzeniami do przyspieszania ruchu pary wewnatrz tych talerzy.W piecu do suszenia, przedstawio¬ nym na fig. Fig. 3 wyobraza przekrój poziomy przez talerz, nadajacy sie do opisanego powyzej urzadzenia suszarnianego, za- pomoca którego jeszcze wydatniej mozna podniesc sprawnosc suszarek. Cwiartki talerza, l1, S\ 31 i 41 sapo-, laczone z rurami pionowemi 51,6\ 71J81i9\ przyczem komora l1 talerza komunikuje sie zapomoca rurjr li1 z rura 5\ a za- pomoca rury 121 z rura 61. PL PLCoal drying devices, etc., are already known in which heating steam is supplied to drying plates placed one above the other via hollow columns provided with partition walls. Obtaining a regular circulation of heating steam in these devices is so difficult that they have not provided any minimal economic benefits. The main reason for this is, among other things, the rather significant amount of relatively high-pressure steam consumed, which usually requires the use of a jet blower to obtain a regular current. These disadvantages are eliminated by the dryer that is the subject of the present invention. This dryer not only eliminates the need for blowers, but also provides a 25% or more increase in efficiency compared to previously known drying devices. According to the invention, heating steam is passed from one hollow column to the next, back and forth, through several series-connected groups of plates, and the condensate from each group of plates is drained separately before the steam is further used for heating. Optionally, in addition to the hollow columns, special pipes, each equipped with a condensate discharge tube, can be used to conduct the steam from one group of plates to the next. Such tubes, placed one above the other, are either connected to each other and separated by blind flanges or placed independently of each other and then closed at both ends. The uppermost group of plates can also be completely separated from the others, and a separate steam stream can be sent through it, not being used in any of the other groups. A further object of the invention is that the interiors of the plates, divided in a known manner into separate quarters are connected singly or in pairs in series, and in the individual quarters partitions are arranged in such a way that the cross-sections of the steam channels in the different quarters correspond to the ratio of 1 to 1/2, to 1/3 and to 1/4. In the drawing, Figs. 1 and 2 show two methods of making the coal drying device which is the subject of the invention, and Figs. 3 and 4 show two methods of making drying plates together with devices for accelerating the movement of steam inside these plates. In the drying furnace shown in Fig. 1, (a) and (b) denote known hollow columns to which drying plates 1 to 32 placed one above the other are attached. These columns are divided by partitions (c) or the like into chambers 7, 77, 777, IV and V. In chamber 7, near its bottom, there is an outlet of a pipe supplying steam; whereas from chambers 77, 777, IV and V, near their bottoms, outlet pipes 0, /, g, h branch off. Chamber II is of such a height that its lower part corresponds to the upper part of chamber 777; the lower part of chamber 777 corresponds to the upper part of chamber IV, etc. The steam, supplied at low pressure through pipe (d) to chamber 7 of column (a), flows through the connected plates 1 to 13 and enters chamber 77 of column (b) partly as steam and partly as water, which flows down through discharge pipe (e) 1, while the steam flows through plates 14-21 and enters chamber 777 of column (a) partly as steam and partly as water. After the condensate has been previously drained through pipe (/), the steam flows through plates 22-58' and enters chamber IV, from where the condensate is removed through pipe (§*). The steam flows through the last plates 29-35, enters chamber F, and from there, being completely used, is drained together with the condensate through pipe (h). Due to the strong cooling by the freshly introduced moist coal, which is obtained from the mine, through hole (i), the steam in the upper plates condenses very quickly. For this reason, the heating medium of plates 1-4 or 1-6 can, for example, be drained without being used for further heating. In this case, for steam circulation, a suitably modified plate distribution is used, starting with plate 0 or 7. Coal drying devices according to the method of construction shown in Fig. 2 are provided with separate pipes for conducting steam from one group of plates to the next and for draining off condensate, so that the dryer columns on which the plates rest do not require internal partitions dividing their interior space into a series of chambers. Consequently, this dryer design is especially suitable for cases where it is a matter of rebuilding existing dryers in which the columns are to be used. If the columns are not used even for the first steam supply and return, there is a further advantage in that the columns no longer heat up and cool down again, and therefore always retain the same length. In the plate dryer shown in the drawing, the columns (a) of the dryer serve only for the first steam supply, and the columns (b) only for the first steam transfer from the first or second group of plates to the next. Each of these columns forms a single internal space, undivided. For the further steam transfer from one group of plates to the next, vertical pipes (£), (/) and (m), (»), which are only long enough to connect the two groups of plates, are used. They are closed at their ends with blind flanges (0), or where they are placed in a line one above the other and touch each other, they are separated from each other by identical blind flanges. These pipes have, as usual with columns, an appropriate number of connectors (/), from which connecting pipes (r) lead to the individual plates 1-16. Each of the pipes (k) (/) (m) (n) has a drain connector (5) for condensate. The advantage of this device is that it is completely independent of the structure of the columns, or from their internal division, that any existing dryer can be converted into a dryer according to Fig. 1, and more particularly that at any time, by replacing the tubes (£, /, m, n) with others, a different arrangement of plates can be obtained, if desired, due to changes in operating conditions or water content in the coal. Instead of using dryer columns for the first supply and first change of steam direction, it is possible, without departing from the essence of the invention, to use for this purpose tubes of the type (£, /, m). Then the columns remain cold during operation and do not change their length when starting and during breaks in operation. Fig. 3 shows a horizontal section through a plate suitable for the drying device described above, which can be used to further improve the efficiency of dryers. Previously, in order to increase the steam velocity in plate dryers, baffles were used inside the plates, which created channels of a much smaller cross-section than the normal flow cross-section in the plates. In this plate, however, the steam velocity, while maintaining such a device, is increased by the fact that the parts of the plate, which is usually composed of four quadrants, are connected in series so that the steam, after flowing through the first quadrant, flows to the next, then to the third, and finally to the fourth quadrant, each time flowing the same distance as through the first quadrant. As a result, the heating surface for steam flowing through the same cross-section is increased fourfold, i.e. four times more steam than usual must flow through the first quarter of the plate, three times more through the second, and twice as much through the third. The quarters of the plate, 11, 31 and 41 are connected to the vertical pipes 51, 6, 71, 81 and 9, with the chamber 11 of the plate communicating via pipe 11 with pipe 5 and via pipe 121 with pipe 61. The latter is connected via pipe 131 with quarter 21 of the plate, and this quarter communicates via pipe 141 on the other side; with pipe 71, from which a second pipe 151 leads to plate quarter 31. This quarter again connects with pipe 81 by means of pipe 161, and is connected to plate quarter 41 by pipe 171. Chamber 41 is connected with pipe 01 by pipe 181. From vertical pipes 5\6\7\81. and 9V, there are branch pipes 19\20\21\32^&\&y into which taps 24\25}) 26xr 271 and 281 are connected and which have an outlet to common pipe 29K. Steam is supplied to pipe 5i by means of inlet pipe 301. This steam flows through pipe 11 to quadrant 11 of the plate, and then through pipe 121 to vertical pipe 01, and then through pipe 131 to quadrant 2L. From this quarter, the steam flows through pipe 141 to pipe 71 and then through pipe 151 to quadrant 31 of the plate. After passing through this quarter, the steam passes through through pipe 161 to collecting pipe 81, and from there through pipe 171 to the last quadrant 41 of the plate. The water formed there, together with the remaining steam, flows out through pipe 181 into the vertical collecting pipe 9\. Thus, the steam flows through the individual quarters of the plate in turn and at each pass enters the vertical collecting pipe. The condensate from pipes 5\, 6\, 7\, 8\, 9l and 10l is discharged into pipe 291. The cocks 24\, 25\, 26\, 271 and 281 remove the back pressures which could negatively affect the steam flow rate. According to the invention, the plates have "devices, shown in quarters 1, 2\, 31. If by means of these auxiliary means the cross-section of the steam channels inside the plates is made inversely proportional to the number of ordinal quarters of the plate, i.e. if the cross-section in the fourth quarter is only a quarter of the cross-section in the first quarter, in the third quarter—one third, and in the second quarter—half of the cross-section in the first quarter—then we will achieve approximately the same flow rates in the individual quarters, assuming that the same amount of steam condenses in each quarter. The plate described above can naturally be used in coal drying devices other than the devices shown in Figs. 1 and 2. In another method of construction, shown in horizontal section in Fig. 4, the plates for coal drying devices are connected in series in pairs of two chambers (quarters of the plate); the steam enters simultaneously into two quarter chambers and, after flowing through them and through the two remaining quarter chambers connected in series after them, it is discharged through a common pipe. The steam, flowing through pipe (i1) to the vertical pipe {el)y, flows out of the latter through pipes (k\l1) to chambers (a1) (c1) and passes through pipes (m1, y1, o1), or (WS gli P1) to chambers (£\rf1), from which, together with the condensate flowing together, it flows through pipes (g1, r1) to the common pipe (h1). In this method of execution, analogously to the method shown in Fig. 3, drainage pipes s1, Z1, v\u1 with taps w1, z1, y1 and X1 and a collecting pipe f1 are used. PL PL
