Istote wzoru zdobniczego stanowi nowa postac oslony znicza przejawia- jaca sie w jej ksztalcie, wlasciwosciach powierzchni i rysunku linii. The essence of the ornamental design is a new form of the candle cover, manifested in its shape, surface properties, and line drawing. The torch cover has the shape of a solid of revolution. Its belly, covered with relief decorations and narrowing in its outer outline, rests on a leg terminated in a foot. The foot, in its lower part, is shaped like a horizontally arranged slice, its smaller base cut from a sphere by two parallel planes, the upper edge of which runs inward in a gentle arc around the circumference, upwards into the upper part of the foot. The upper part of the foot is shaped like a truncated cone, the plane parallel to its base, the upper edge of which runs in a gentle arc upwards into a short, vertical leg. The leg is shaped like a very low cylinder, the upper edge of which runs outward horizontally around the circumference into the lower part of the belly of the torch's cover. The lower part of the belly is shaped like a wide bowl with a curved wall, its upper part in the outer outline, seen from the side, curves gently outward and extends inward along the circumference into a narrowing of the belly, shaped like a very low cylinder. The upper edge of the narrowing extends outward along the circumference into an annular rim that crowns the upper part of the belly from below. The annular rim runs along its circumference in a gentle upward arc, first outward and then inward, into the side wall of a flattened truncated cone, a plane parallel to its base, which then runs in a gentle upward arc outward into a cylindrical neck with a surrounding annular projection placed horizontally below its rim, crowning the top cover.
