Znane jest wytwarzanie ketonów tlu¬ szczowych przez ogrzewanie soli wapnio¬ wych kwasów tluszczowych, zawierajacych co najmniej 2 atomy wegla w czasteczce.Obecnie wykryto, ze wydajnosc keto¬ nów wzrasta znacznie i reakcja przebiega gladziej nawet w temperaturach znacznie nizszych, skoro ogrzewanie soli kwasów tluszczowych prowadzi sie w obecnosci rozpuszczalników. Jako rozpuszczalniki nadaja sie: tetralina, dodekan, alkohol bu¬ tylowy, a nawet woda. Sposób mozna prze¬ prowadzac pod cisnieniem zwyklem lub podwyzszonem. Temperature korzystnie jest utrzymywac w granicach 150° -h- 400°. PL
