After sticking the tapes 7 and 9, the bag is transferred to the sorting and packing unit 13.

The assembly for shaping and gluing the bottom and for shaping the upper closure of paper bags in the form of a rotary table with elements for burnishing and shaping and for applying glue to the bottom closing surface located behind it, characterized in that behind the bottom closing elements (3) there is a drum (6) with a strip (7), preferably made of plastic, for applying the strip (7) to the bottom surface (3) of the bag in the contact area of the closing surfaces, and a drum (8) with a strip of paper (9), in which there is a matrix (10) for applying the adhesive layer to the contact surface of the tape with the bottom of the bag, and behind the matrix (10) there is a roller (11) pressing the tape to the bottom surface (3) of the bag and cutting knives (12) .
