The novelty and originality of furniture based on an industrial design compared to established furniture is evident in the shape of the decorative door overlay. Furniture based on an industrial design, as cabinet furniture, is made of laminated chipboard or covered with a finish foil or other similar foil. The overlay is made of MDF wood-based board covered with a wood-like PVC foil. The industrial design subject is shown in the drawing, of which Figures 1-4 represent furniture variations. Its new and unique character is manifested in the fact that the doors are decorated with a single overlay in the shape of a sinusoidal wave, the crest and trough of which merge into rectilinear surfaces. The overlay is positioned on the door so that its crest is above the handle on the left door, and the trough is below the handle on the right door. The second type of furniture based on industrial design, as shown in Figure 2, is a chest of drawers with left doors and upper and lower right doors. Its new and unique design is evident in the fact that the doors are decorated with a single overlay in the shape of a sinusoidal wave, the crest and trough of which merge into rectilinear surfaces. The overlay is positioned so that the crest of the wave is placed on the left door, and the trough of the wave is placed on the upper right door. The third type of furniture based on industrial design, as shown in Figure 3, is a free-standing display cabinet with left and right doors. Its new and unique design is evident in the fact that the doors are decorated with two overlays in the shape of a sinusoidal wave, the crest and trough of which merge into rectilinear surfaces, with the crest of the wave placed on the right door and the trough of the wave placed on the left door. The overlays are located at the bottom of the upper door sections and at the top of the lower door section, parallel to each other, directly adjacent to the glass section of the door, which is located between the upper and lower door sections. The overlays are positioned so that their ridges are above the handle on the right door, and the valleys are positioned below the handle on the right door. The fourth variety of furniture based on industrial design, as shown in Figure 4, is a hanging display cabinet with left and right doors. Its new and unique design is manifested in the fact that the doors are decorated with two overlays in the shape of a sinusoidal wave, the crest and valley of which merge into rectilinear surfaces. The overlays are positioned so that the crest of the wave is placed on the left door, and the valley of the wave is placed on the right door. One overlay is placed at the bottom of the upper door and at the top of the lower door, parallel to each other, directly adjacent to the glass section of the door, which is located between the upper and lower door sections. The shape of the lower edge of the upper door and the shape of the upper edge of the lower door are matched to the shape of the overlay.
