Abstract

The floor drain has frames (1) and a carrier (2) inserted into the frames, where the frames and an outer edge of the carrier form an intake slot (4) i.e. circulating intake slot. The carrier is provided with a glass plate (5) in its upper side, where an outer edge of the plate is locked with the outer edge of the carrier and laterally overlaps the outer edge of the carrier. The plate and the frames form an upper intake slot (6), to which the intake slot is attached. The plate is a surface-treated glass plate and is manufactured from safety glass i.e. foil laminated glass.
