The essence of the industrial design is the new form of the item, manifested in the shape, color scheme, and original arrangement of the furniture's open and solid parts, which give the furniture a unique, individual appearance aimed at enhancing its aesthetic qualities, thereby giving the furniture favorable distinctive and functional characteristics. The wall unit, based on the industrial design, is intended for repeated reproduction in industrial production. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached drawing, which shows a general view of the wall unit. To better illustrate the industrial design, we have also attached a photograph depicting the subject of the design. The wall unit based on the industrial design will be introduced to the market under the trade name "LEON III". The essential features of the industrial design The LEON wall unit is characterized by the fact that it consists of a standing part and a hanging part. The standing part on one side contains a single-door standing cabinet closed with a full door, divided horizontally into three visible elements. The standing part on the other side has a two-door cabinet whose door fronts are also divided into three parts, with the central part being glass. The glass in this cabinet does not visibly overlap the side walls of the furniture, unlike full doors, which cover the side walls of the furniture. In the center between the cabinets is a low, forward-facing TV cabinet with three horizontal drawers and three open compartments beneath them. The drawers are mounted so that they appear to be floating, as the open compartments beneath them have no external sides. Above the standing section is a hanging section of the same width, in the form of a low cabinet equivalent to the lower narrow cabinet, a shelf the width of a low TV cabinet, and a two-door cabinet equivalent to the lower two-door cabinet. The hanging shelf's open sides, without side walls, are distinctive. A characteristic feature of this wall unit is that the fronts of the full doors and drawers are dark, contrasting strongly with the light colors of the remaining furniture elements. The wall unit is equipped with distinctive long, horizontal handles spanning almost the entire width of the drawers and doors. They have an original shape, and their cross-section resembles a cone, meaning they are wider towards the furniture. The plinth is applied to the side walls of the unit.
