The industrial design is for a set of New York upholstered furniture for seating and/or lounging, consisting of an armchair and a three-seater sofa, intended for furnishing apartments, hotels, or other commercial spaces. The essence of the industrial design is a new form of upholstered furniture for seating and/or lounging, manifesting itself in common features of shape, line layout, quality of cushions, and upholstery materials, giving the furniture a unique appearance. The New York upholstered furniture set, based on the industrial design, is shown in an axonometric view in the drawing, where Fig. 1 shows the armchair, Fig. 2 shows the three-seater sofa in a side view with adjustable backrest, and Fig. 3 shows the three-seater sofa in a general view. The New York upholstered furniture set, based on an industrial design, is a seating or lounger consisting of an armchair and a three-seater sofa. Lightweight in construction, it features minimalistic embellishments, including quilted seat and back cushions and a chrome-nickel frame. The New York armchair consists of one seat cushion and one back cushion. The cushions are attached to a frame made of chrome-plated metal tubing, supported by legs that are straight at the front and angled outward at the rear at a forty-five-degree angle. The backrest cushion frame is mounted on a pivoting axle with latches that allow for two-stage positioning of the armchair's backrest. The backrest and seat cushions are quilted in a geometrically ordered square pattern on the inside, while the outside is upholstered in a smooth, band-like pattern, as shown in Figure 1. The three-seater sofa in the New York upholstered furniture set, based on an industrial design, is a piece of furniture for sitting or lying down, consisting of one seat cushion and two back cushions. The cushions are attached to a frame made of chrome-plated metal tubes placed on legs that are straight at the front and angled outward at the rear at a forty-five-degree angle. The horizontal tubes of the frame, located transversely to the sofa's length, are longer and extend beyond the seat frame structure by a distance shorter than the horizontal projection of the sofa's angled rear legs. The frame of the backrest cushion is mounted on a rotating axle with latches enabling three-stage positioning of the backrest, with two backrest tilt positions for the sitting function and the third for the lying position, as shown in Fig. 2. The backrest and seat cushions are quilted in a geometrically ordered pattern of squares on the inside, and on the outside they have smooth upholstery in the form of a band, as shown in Fig. 3. An important feature of the New York upholstered furniture set according to the industrial design is the simple construction of the furniture supported by a frame made of chrome-plated tubes, a flat seat cushion and, in the case of the sofa, two divided backrest cushions with the ability to change the positioning of the tilt angle in the sitting position or to unfold it flat for lying down. In the armchair and sofa, the seat and back cushions are quilted in a geometrically ordered pattern of squares on the inside, while the outside is upholstered in a smooth band-like pattern. A significant feature of the New York upholstered furniture set, based on an industrial design, is the frame made of chrome-plated metal tubes placed on legs that are straight at the front and tilted outward at the back at a forty-five-degree angle. In the sofa, the seat frame is wider than the seat and protrudes outward to the extent of the projection of the tilted legs on the horizontal plane of the frame. The frame of each back cushion is divided like the back cushions and attached to the seat frame on pivoting axles with latches that allow for positioning the tilt of each backrest.
