According to the industrial design, the school chair is a structure made of a closed metal profile with an oval cross-section and wooden elements. The school chair is shown in the attached drawing. The metal section of the chair is a structure consisting of two vertically and parallel closed metal profiles connected in the middle to a metal seat base and in the lower section to a profiled base. The wooden section of the chair consists of a seat and backrest, which are made of hardwood plywood lacquered in a natural wood color. The seat is attached to a metal base. The seat has a contoured and rounded front edge. The seat surface is smooth. The backrest is perpendicular to the seat and is attached solely to the metal profiles at their upper end, leaving a void between the seat, backrest, and closed profiles. The backrest protrudes slightly beyond the profiles. The backrest edges are rounded. Both closed profile elements and the seat base are finished with plastic strips at the bottom, preventing the chair from scratching the floor, which is a functional feature. For aesthetic purposes, plastic strips are placed on the ends of the seat base, just below the profiled seat edge, and on the ends of the metal profiles. Plastic strips are placed on the underside of the seat, underneath the support profiles, as shown in the attached drawing.
