The subject of the invention is a hair shampoo, which uses soapwort root extract as a substance that supplements the cleaning effect of surfactants and is biologically active at the same time.

Each hair shampoo, regardless of its type, contains a surfactant with a washing and foaming effect, and quality shampoos usually also contain conditioners that favorably affect the appearance of the hair and the condition of the scalp.

It is known from folk practice that the foaming and foaming effects of the extracts of the root of the medical soap (Radiz Saponariae) are. It is also known that saponins, which are the basic biologically active component of the extracts, exert a strong stimulating effect on the skin in addition to their washing effect. They restore the permeability of capillaries, improve blood circulation, improve blood circulation in the skin, help maintain resistance to infections and mechanical injuries, regenerate. At the same time, however, it has a strong irritating effect on mucous membranes, which when used in hair preparations that run over the face during use, causes the risk of severe irritation of the eye and eye mucosa.

An additional difficulty in using the advantages of the soapbox in toilet preparations is its loss from surfactant solutions in the form of deposits.

Unexpectedly, it turned out that it was possible to obtain a clear, liquid shampoo for misty hair, not irritating the conjunctiva of the eye, and based on an extract from the root of a medical soap, if mono-sulfuric acid derivatives were used as one surfactant, while simultaneously using addition of fatty acid diethanolamides. The shampoo according to the invention does not cause irritation of the conjunctiva of the eye which is more severe than that encountered with the use of an ordinary commercial shampoo.

The shampoo of the invention contains the composition MJ3 ^c above, on a solids 100%, 0.35 - 3.9% by weight extract from the roots of prClr ^ zicy medical, not less than

3.5% by weight of monoesters of ethoxylated alkylphenols and / or ethoxylated fatty alcohols and / or moneztaezlamides and / or ethoxylated mono-ethanolamides with sulfosuccinic acid, and not less than 0.5% by weight of higher fatty acid di-aeolamide. The shampoo according to the invention may also contain conventional washing, conditioner and biologically active substances.

Exemplary shampoo recipes according to the invention are provided below

Example I. Hair shampoo composed of: monnoether of sulfosuccinic acid and nonylphenol with oxyethylated β-groups with oxygen groups in ethylene - 4% by weight, based on 100% active substance, sulfosuccinic acid ponesster and lauryl alcohol with 3-oxyethyl grouped oxide ethylene - 3% by weight, based on 100% active substance, sodium salt of sulphated lauryl alcohol ethoxylate with 3 groups of ethylene glycerol - 3% by weight, based on 100% active substance, coconut oil diethanolamide - 3% by weight, extract of the medicine - 3% by weight based on 100% active substance, preservative, perfume, water - up to 100% by weight.

The shampoo according to example 1 is clear, reacts with increased viscosity on the addition of sodium chloride, has good functional properties. In order to assess the possible irritating effect on mucous membranes, this shampoo was tested in the Toxicology Department of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry with the Diriza test on the rabbit's eye. It was found that the shampoo applied to the eye at the application concentration did not cause any changes indicative of eye irritation. The commercial concentration of the shampoo caused irritation in 30% of the tested queens, which disappeared after 3 days without a trace. Thus, the irritant effect of the shampoo according to example 1 is at the level of the authorized shampoo.

Example II. Shampoo for m / <c; ia hair composed of: monosulfosuccinic acid and nonylphenol xyethylated with 6 groups of ethylene oxide - 7.5% by weight, based on 100% substance, diutanolamide of low erucic acid rapeseed oil - 3% by weight, m ^ extract of medical history - 3% by weight, based on 100% substance, preservative, fragrance, water - up to 100% by weight.

The shampoo according to example 2 is clear and has good handling properties. This shampoo was tested by the Draize test on the rabbit's eye at the Institute of Fanmacutical Industry / Department ^^ sykoGo !! /. At the commercial concentration of oywoOyoa £ on, the eye clearly does not disappear after 7 days, however, at the application concentration, no changes characteristic of conjunctiva, cornea and iris irritation were found in any of the rabbits tested.
