PLThe patent description was published: 88 11 30 Authors of the invention: Rudolf Sieradzki, Edward Kobiela. Authorized by the patent: Kombinat Przemyslu Narzedziowego "Vis", Fabryka Pil i Narzedzi "Wapienica", Bielsko-Biala (Poland) Method and device for making toothing of shaping segments for rolling splines on In rolling mills I have invented a method and a device for making teeth of the shaping segments for rolling splines on rolling mills used in the production of metal spline rolls or a drill with a splined shank part. From the Polish patent application No. P. 213 472 it is known how to make teeth of segments of a rolling mill that a ready-hardened segment in the form of a cut-off solid is first made of a straight-through plane with a concentric inner hole and flat front surfaces, and then, based on a surface parallel to the surface of the grinding table, the segment is aligned and It activates the grinding machine on the rectilinearly sliding table with a rotating grinding wheel profiled according to the profile of the interdental groove in a position in which the cylinders of the segment are parallel to the direction of movement of the grinding table, and the bevelled surfaces are parallel to the plane of the grinding table. In such an arrangement of the segment, the first frame is then ground to an incomplete depth, after which the position of the notch is checked and corrected. In turn, the next notches are made lying on one side of the first, most recently made notch, first to an incomplete depth, and then their position is checked and corrected. Only then are the grooves ground to their full depth. During the grinding of successive teeth in the above-described manner, the processed segment is rotated about the axis of the cylinder from which it was cut, the angular displacement of the segment being machined with respect to the grinding wheel being the multiplication of the angular division of the teeth. On the other hand, notches lying on the other side of the earliest notch made by rotating the segment by 180 ° in the plane in which the flat bevelled surfaces lie. The position of the first notch is checked by comparing the profile distance from the base surface in two positions of the segment obtained by rotating it around the curvature axis a cylindrical surface by a certain angle less than 90 °, first to one side of the position in which the frame was sanded, and then the same angle to the other side.2 143 405 From the same patent application P. 232 472 a device for manipulating the segment is known in the process of making teeth, which consists of a body with a shaft, in which a table is rotatably mounted, which on one side of the shaft has a locating seat with resistance to segment the clamping tabs, and on the other hand has a dividing disc with teeth intended for setting the table in positions rotated by an angle equal to an angular division of segment foes and its multiples with sliding in the pawl shaft, the segment locating seat having a concave surface which is part of the cylindrical surface of the cylinder, the axis of which coincides with the axis of rotation of the table. According to the invention, the method of making the teeth of the shaping segments for rolling multi-voids lies in the fact that the segment in the form of a solid is finished, the cut-off plane is made of a through-formed cylinder with a concentric hole and flat front surfaces, in which there are grooves running radially, perpendicular to the bevelled surfaces, for positioning the segments on the rolling mill, and then the segment is attached to the device for making teeth set on the table of an optical grinding machine based on one of the front surfaces of the segment, on the grooves located in these surfaces and on the outer cylindrical surface by pushing the segment to the bumper, and then the position of the grinding table is determined based optically on the contour a fragment of the internal hole by matching the outline of this hole visible in a magnified view on the screen of an optical grinder with a template placed on the screen, which also contains a template of the shape of an interdental notch. In this position, the grinder table is immobilized and the first spar lying on the plane of the symmetry of the segment is grinded using a rotating diameter fixed on the vertically sliding grinder headstock, observing the shape of the groove being made on the screen and moving the grinder headstock in a horizontal plane, then rotating the segment on a horizontal plane. the device for making toothing with respect to the axis of the internal cylindrical surface with an angle equal to successive multiples of the angular scale of the teeth and successive notches lying on one side of the first central notch are ground. The extreme tooth of the incomplete section is ground down. After sanding the notches on one side of the center notch, the segment is inverted from the other end face and the tool is brought back to the starting position. The contour of the first central notch is then visually inspected, and the remaining notches lying on the other side of the center notch are sanded one after the other as described above. After all the teeth in the segments have been made, the tapered lead-in parts are ground. At the end of the tooth making process, the sharp tooth edges formed during grinding are rounded and the entire tooth is polished. The base is equipped with a protrusion which is a segment of a ring with side walls formed by the side surfaces of the cylinder or cone, and the lower surface of the handle is provided with a recess corresponding to the shape of the protrusion of the base, into which the protrusion of the base enters, so that only a rotation of the handle is possible with respect to the base. the upper surface of the handle is symmetrically fixed with a retaining groove which engages in a groove in the end face of the segment, and a stop stone perpendicular to it, against which the outer cylindrical surface of the segment engages. The stop stone is situated in such a place that the segment fixed in the handle of the device has the axis of the cylindrical surfaces coinciding with the axis of rotation of the handle in relation to the base. The holder is also provided with a recess in the part closest to the axis of rotation to the base with a depth greater than the radius of the internal cylindrical surface in the machined segments. This ensures the access of the grinding wheel to the treated part of the segment. In addition, the handle is equipped with two clamps, which are clamped with screws to the oblique surfaces of the shaping segments, used to attach the segments on the rolling mill. 143 405 3 To fix the handle in the selected position, screws are screwed into the threaded holes in the base and passing through the oblong holes running along the length of the arc the handle is guided from the axis of rotation relative to the base. Their bolts rest on the upper surface of the handle. In the case where the protrusion of the base and the recess in the lower surface of the handle have lateral conical surfaces, it is preferable to use screws screwed into the holes made in in the handle, preferably secured against unscrewing with nuts, the screws pressing the clamping element, which is a segment of the ring, located in the gap between the protrusion of the base and the recess in the lower surface of the handle, and having a wedge-shaped cross-section. The handle of the device according to the invention may be provided with including positioning holes arranged on the hatch concentric with the axis of rotation of the handle, and the angular spacing of these holes corresponds to the angular pitch of the teeth of the segment. In the base of the device, however, it is at the same distance from the axis of rotation of the handle as the aforementioned positioning holes, thanks to which, in order to establish the position of the handle appropriate for grinding individual segment cutters, it is possible to pass through the setting holes of the handle and the hole in the base of the positioning pin. It is advantageous to provide the holes with sleeves, so that in the event of the holes disalibrating, the device can be regenerated by replacing the sleeves. The device according to the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the device in top view, Fig. 2 - a section of the device along the plane of symmetry, and Fig. 3 - a section through the clamp. As shown in the drawing, the device according to the invention has a horizontal base 1 with a protrusion 2 being a segment of a ring with side walls formed by conical surfaces. On the base 1 there is a semicircular handle plate 3, which has a recess 4 in the lower surface, approximately corresponding to the shape of the protrusion 2 of the base 1 but having a greater width. In the space between the recess 4 and the projection 2 a clamping element 5 is placed, being a segment of the ring with a wedge-shaped cross-section. On the upper surface of the handle 3, a symmetrically located retaining groove 6 is screwed and a stop stone 7 situated perpendicular to it. The handle 3 also has a recess 8 with a depth ensuring the access of the grinding wheel to the processed surface of the segment, i.e. with a depth greater than the depth measured to the inner cylindrical surface of the segment whose outline is marked in the drawing by a dashed line. The segment is attached to the holder 3 with two clamps 9 supporting on the inclined surfaces of the segment used for its mounting in the rolling mill. The clamping lugs 9 are screwed to the holder 3 with screws 10 by means of hemispherical washers 11. Between the clamping lugs 9 and the holder 3 elastic rubber pads 12 are inserted. The studs 13 embedded in the holder 3 and passing through the oblong holes in the clamping lugs 9 do not allow their rotation on the screws 10. The handle 3 is conveniently turned by a handle attached to it 14. The position of the handle 3, in which the individual notches of the segment teeth are ground, is set by means of positioning holes 15 with sleeves 16 made in the holder 3 at an angle distance corresponding to the scale sparrow tooth segment. When grinding the groove, the position of the handle 3 is set when the positioning hole 15 in the handle 3 coincides with the hole in the base 1. This position is established by inserting the positioning pin 17 into both these holes. The handle 3 is additionally fixed in this position by means of into the handle 3 by means of screws 18, secured against unscrewing by nuts 19, which screws 18 press against the clamping element 20, which is a section of the ring having a wedge-shaped cross-section, thanks to which it gets jammed between the base 1 and the handle 3, locking these elements in relation to each other.
