Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania folii weglowej znajdujacej zastosowanie jako uszczelnienie w róznych aparatach i urzadzeniach.Dotychczas w celu otrzymania folii weglowej poddaje sie czysty grafit obróbce termicznej i chemicznej, a nastepnie procesowi prasowania.Istota sposobu wedlug wynalazku, polega na tym, ze folie organiczna, korzystnie folie z poliakrylonitrylu ogrzewa sie w atmosferze powietrza w temperaturze 473-493 K przez 5-8 godzin, % nastepnie ogrzewa sie ja watmosferze argonu, z predkoscia 323-373 K na godzine do temperatury 1373 K i chlodzi w temperaturze otoczenia.Zaleta sposobu wedlug wynalazkujest to, ze pozwala na otrzymanie folii gladkiej,elastycznej i bezporowatej.Przyklad. Folie poliakrylonitrylu umieszcza sie w piecu, przez który przepuszcza sie powie¬ trze i ogrzewa stopniowo do temperatury 493 K. W tej temperaturze uklad przetrzymuje sie przez 5 godzin.
