Niniejszy wynalazek dotyczy sposobu i urzadzenia do umocowywania okuc na izo¬ latorach, polegajacego na tern, ze odpo¬ wiednio uksztaltowane niepodzielne oku¬ cie g (fig. 1 i 3) zostaje osadzone na izo¬ latorze i zacisniete w podcieta powierzch¬ nie izolatora.Znany jest sposób wciskania okucia w podcieta powierzchnie izolatora, polegaja¬ cy na tern, ze okucie albo ulozony na niem zamkniety niepodzielny pierscien wzmac¬ niajacy dociskowy zostaja stloczone na mniejsza srednice zapomoca pewnej licz¬ by promieniowo ulozonych bijników. Te i tym podobne sposoby maja jednakze te wade, ze okucia nie zostaja osadzone dosc mocno, gdyz po ustaniu dzialania sil do¬ ciskajacych splaszczony materjal okucia powraca w pewnym stopniu do poprzed¬ niej postaci, odpowiednio do swej ela¬ stycznosci. PLThe present invention relates to a method and a device for fixing fittings on insulators, consisting in the fact that a suitably shaped undivided fitting g (Figures 1 and 3) is mounted on the insulator and clamped into the undercut surface of the insulator. It is known to press the fitting into the undercutting surface of the insulator, consisting in the fact that the fitting or a closed, undivided clamping ring placed thereon is pressed into a smaller diameter by means of a certain number of radially arranged rams. These and the like methods, however, have the disadvantage that the fittings do not sit firmly enough, because when the forces pressing against the flattened material of the fitting have ceased to be applied, it reverts somewhat to its former form, according to its elasticity. This kind of deformation results from the method of pressing. According to the invention, the material is prevented from deforming again in that the ferrule is first of all pulled radially against the insulator in a known manner and then stretched by the vertical movement of the piston together with the insulator in the axial direction of the insulator through a pressure ring made of flexible rams, thereby pressing it strongly against the walls of the insulator. As a result, the hardware material flattens permanently, which makes it impossible to relax.
