Abstract
[Purpose] The purpose of present invention is to provide a decanter apparatus that comprises any movable portions for following a change in water level of supernatant water at the time of drainage of supernatant water, is durable, is reliable and prevents settled sludge from being rolled up and discharged. [Means to solve] A decanter apparatus 30A drains treated supernatant water 82 in a batch reactor 10A installed in a batch-type sewage treatment reactor 1A, which performs repeatedly operation cycles comprising a treatment process comprising an aerobic process and an anoxic process, a settling process, a supernatant water drainage process, and a sludge drainage process. The apparatus 30A comprises: a fixed water drainage pipe 32 comprising a water intake port 31 for the supernatant water 82 and extending in a horizontal direction; a water collection chamber 33 provided in the batch reactor 10A and connecting with the fixed water drainage pipe 32; a water drainage pump 36 installed in the water collection chamber 33 and comprising a water intake port 36a at a lower position than the fixed water drainage pipe 32; and a pump water-drainage pipe 34 connected to a water drainage port 36b of the water drainage pump 36.
