Abstract
This hybrid vehicle is equipped with a hybrid system (30), which comprises: a motor (10) and a motor generator (31) that serve as power sources for vehicle traveling; and a control device (80). This hybrid vehicle is characterized in that during coasting regeneration in which regenerative power generation is performed by the motor generator when coasting, the control device injects fuel into the engine and carries out control processing for controlling the absorption torque of the motor generator to arrive at a high absorption torque at which power generation efficiency higher than a predetermined reference value can be obtained.
