Abstract

The present invention enables appropriate measurement of a characteristic of grain being circulated. A drying machine (61A) is provided with: a loader unit (62) into which grain is loaded; an accumulation unit (63) in which the grain loaded into the loader unit (62) is accumulated; a drying unit (64) for drying the grain accumulated in the accumulation unit (63); a circulation unit (65) for transferring the grain dried by the drying unit (64) to the accumulation unit (63); and a measurement device (66) for measuring a characteristic of the grain being transferred by the circulation unit (65). The circulation unit (65) includes a lateral transfer mechanism (65A) for laterally transferring the grain after drying, and a vertical transfer mechanism (65B) for upwardly transferring the grain transferred by the lateral transfer mechanism (65A), and the measurement device (66) is fitted to the lateral transfer mechanism (65A).
