Abstract
[Problem] A work device having a position correction function is provided which can solve a problem with positioning accuracy of a drive device. [Solution] In a work device including a stage, a work head device, an image pickup device, a drive device that moves the work head device and the stage relatively in the XYZ directions, and a control device that measures a positional displacement amount of the work head device, the work device further includes a linear motion device to which are attached the image pickup device and the work head device, and which is movable reciprocally between a first position and a second position in the X direction or the Y direction; the linear motion device is attached to the drive device to be movable reciprocally by the drive device in the same direction as the reciprocal movement of the linear motion device; and the control device calculates a positional displacement amount of the drive device on the basis of a difference between a positional displacement amount (X1, Y1) obtained by executing image processing on a first correction-use image taken by the image pickup device when the linear motion device is at the first position, and a positional displacement amount (X2, Y2) obtained by executing image processing on a second correction-use image taken by the image pickup device when the linear motion device is at the second position.
