Abstract
PROCESO DE OXIDACION DE IONES FERROSOS EN SOLUCION, DE METAL DE BASE Y/O URANIO DE MINERALES METALICOS, CONCENTRADOS O RESIDUOS USANDO ION FERRICO COMO AGENTE OXIDANTE. UNA VASIJA DE REACCION CONTIENE LA SOLUCION DE IONES FERROSO, POR EJEMPLO, UN CONCENTRADO O PASTA LECHOSA DE SULFURO DE COBRE. EL SISTEMA ES PROVISTO DE UN AGITADOR PARA PROMOVER LA LIXIVIACION DEL METAL BASE DE LA SOLUCION, ALGO DE LA SOLUCION ES RETIRADA DE LA VASIJA DE REACCION Y ES BOMBEADA A TRAVES DE UN MEZCLADOR ALINEADO POR MEDIO DE UNA BOMBA DE ALIMENTACION. EL OXIGENO ES INYECTADO EN EL REACTOR PARA FACILITAR LA OXIDACION DEL SULFATO FERROSO PARA FORMAR SULFATO FERRICO. LA SOLUCION CONTENIENDO ION FERRICO ES ENTONCES RECIRCULADA NUEVAMENTE A LA VASIJA DE REACCION EN DONDE LOS IONES FERRICOS SON VUELTOS A USAR EN LA DISOLUCION DE SULFURO DE COBRE EN EL SULFATO DE COBRE SOLUBLE. AMBOS PROCESOS DE OXIDACION FERROSA Y LIXIVIACION DE METAL PUEDEN SER EFECTUADOS SIMULTANEAMENTE O SECUENCIALMENTE PARA EFECTUAR LA RECUPERACION DE COBRE, OTROS METALES DE BASE O URANIO DE MINERALES METALICOS, CONCENTRADOS O RESIDUOSOXIDATION PROCESS OF FERROUS IONS IN SOLUTION, BASE METAL AND / OR URANIUM OF METALLIC MINERALS, CONCENTRATES OR WASTE USING ION FERRICO AS AN OXIDIZING AGENT. A REACTION VESSEL CONTAINS THE FERROUS ION SOLUTION, FOR EXAMPLE, A CONCENTRATE OR MILKY COPPER SULFIDE PASTE. THE SYSTEM IS PROVIDED WITH AN AGITATOR TO PROMOTE LEACHING OF THE BASE METAL OF THE SOLUTION, SOME OF THE SOLUTION IS REMOVED FROM THE REACTION VESSEL AND IS PUMPED THROUGH A ALIGNED PUMP MIXER. OXYGEN IS INJECTED INTO THE REACTOR TO FACILITATE OXIDATION OF FERROUS SULPHATE TO FORM FERRIC SULPHATE. THE SOLUTION CONTAINING IRON ION IS THEN RECYCLED AGAIN TO THE REACTION VESSEL WHERE THE IRON IONS ARE RE-USED IN THE SOLUTION OF COPPER SULPHIDE IN THE SOLUBLE COPPER SULPHATE. BOTH METALLIC OXIDATION AND LEACHING PROCESSES CAN BE CARRIED OUT SIMULTANEOUSLY OR SEQUENTIALLY TO CARRY OUT THE RECOVERY OF COPPER, OTHER BASE OR URANIUM METALS, CONCENTRATED OR WASTE
