Abstract

Se refiere a un extracto concentrado de algas tales como Ascophyllum nodosum, Fucus vesiculosus, Laminaria digitata, Laminaria hyperborea, Laminaria saccharina, Eklonia maxima, Sargassum spp. o sus mezclas. Tambien se refiere a su procedimiento de preparacion, que comprende: i) moler las algas hasta su estallido celular, ii) homogenizar el material molido en solucion acuosa; iii) retirar los alginatos y la celulosa por floculacion y filtracion; iv) ajustar el pH del filtrado; y v) concentrar el filtrado hasta un porcentaje de 6 % a 100 % de materias secas. Dicho extracto es util en la tecnologia nutricional, bioestimulante o fitosanitaria, en especial para favorecer el crecimiento, el desarrollo y la reproduccion de las plantas o para impedir que las aves coman las semillas
