Abstract

Se proporciona un procedimiento para la extraccion de cobre a partir de un material de carga que comprende por lo menos uno de minerales de sulfuro de cobre que tienen arsenico y antimonio. El proceso incluye pulverizacion ultrafina del material de carga y despues de pulverizacion ultrafina, someter el material de carga a oxidacion a presion en presencia de agente surfactante y un halogeno para producir una suspension de producto. El proceso tambien incluye someter la suspension del producto a separacion liquido/solido para obtener un filtrado de oxidacion a presion y los solidos que comprende por lo menos uno de un compuesto de arsenico y un compuesto de antimonio, y la recuperacion de cobre a partir del filtrado de oxidacion a presion
