Abstract

Sistemas y metodos de sincronizacion de tiempo entre multiples sistemas de una maquina de mineria. El sistema incluye un controlador logico programable (PLC) para controlar la maquina de mineria y para transmitir un tiempo para sincronizar subsistemas informaticos en la maquina. El PLC incluye un relej de sistema que esta programado para funcionar en hora local. Un paquete de bateria esta conectado al PLC para permitir que el reloj de sistema funcione de manera continua, incluso cuando la maquina esta apagada. Los subsistemas informaticos solicitan y reciben actualizaciones de tiempo desde el PLC. Se determina una hora local en cada subsistema informatico basandose en la actualizacion de tiempo recibida desde el PLC. Cada subsistema informatico incluye un parametro de zona horaria fijado al Tiempo Universal Coordinado (UTC) y un parametro de horario de verano (DST) que se desactiva. Por consiguiente, la hora local en cada subsistema informatico se fija al valor de actualizacion de tiempo recibido desde el PLC.
