QUE COMPRENDE: a) GRANULAR Y MOLER LA ESCORIA; b) POR LO MENOS UNA PARTE DE LA ESCORIA ES LIXIVIADA CON ACIDO SULFURICO, EN UNA SOLUCION AMONIACAL, CON UNA SOLUCION CLORIDICA O COMO UNA SOLUCION BACTERIANA; Y, c) RECUPERAR EL COBRE MEDIANTE PRECIPITACION CON HIDROXIDO O CON SULFURO, O MEDIANTE EXTRACCION LIQUIDO-LIQUIDO Y ELECTROLISIS COMO COBRE CATODICO. LA ESCORIA ES FORMADA EN LA PRODUCCION DE COBRE BLISTER QUE SE PRODUCE DIRECTAMENTE DE UN CONCENTRADO EN UN HORNO DE FUSION POR SUSPENSION, TAL COMO UN HORNO DE FUSION INSTANTANEA. LA ESCORIA QUE CONTIENE COBRE, FORMADA EN LA PRECIPITACION, ES RETORNADA AL HORNO DE FUSION POR SUSPENSIONWHICH INCLUDES: a) GRANULAR AND GRIND THE SLAB; b) AT LEAST A PART OF THE SLAG IS LEACHED WITH SULFURIC ACID, IN AN AMMONIA SOLUTION, WITH A CHLORIDIC SOLUTION OR AS A BACTERIAL SOLUTION; AND, c) RECOVER THE COPPER THROUGH PRECIPITATION WITH HYDROXIDE OR SULFIDE, OR THROUGH LIQUID-LIQUID EXTRACTION AND ELECTROLYSIS LIKE CATHODIC COPPER. SLAG IS FORMED IN THE PRODUCTION OF COPPER BLISTER WHICH IS PRODUCED DIRECTLY FROM A CONCENTRATE IN A SUSPENSION FUSION FURNACE, SUCH AS AN INSTANT FUSION FURNACE. THE SLUG CONTAINING COPPER, FORMED IN THE PRECIPITATION, IS RETURNED TO THE MELTING FURNACE BY SUSPENSION
