Abstract

A structural element comprising a web, a pair of flanges projecting outwardly in the same direction from respective ends of the web, and being at right angles to the web, wherein the web comprises two or more arcuate symmetrical channels formed therein, and wherein at least two of the two or more channels project into the web in the same orientation to one another, and lips at the ends of each flange projecting at angles from the flanges. Alternatively the element may have flanges oriented in opposite direction away from web with channels in web projecting in the same directions. Other embodiments are disclosed.
