Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte for å behandle et platelignende mate- riale med et gassformig behandlingsmiddel, i hvilken fremgangsmåte det gassformige behandlingsmiddel blir ført gjennom materialet som blir behandlet. Pla- tematerialet (1) som blir behandlet blir tatt inn i minst en behandlingssone (2), hvor det gassformige be- handllingsmiddel bringes i kontakt med minst en vegg av platen, og bringes til å passere gjennom tykkelsen av platematerialet (1), og at om nødvendig, tilstanden til det gassformige behandlingsmiddel omfattende dets temperatur, fuktighetsinnhold og/eller sammensetning, blir styrt for å oppnå en ønsket effekt på materialet (1) som blir behandlet.
