Abstract

En fremgangsmåte for å tilveiebringe haloterapi til den øvre del (22-26) av den nedre luftvei (30), inn-befatter trinnene å operere en dispenser (30) og in-halere. Dispenseren (30) inneholder et tørt natrium-klorid- pulver. Brukeren aktiverer dispenseren (30) til å gi en dose pulver for inhalering når dispenseren (30) er rettet inn mot brukerens munn. Brukeren inhalerer dosen av pulveret gjennom munnen. Fordi pulveret har et partikkelstørrelsesområde som mulig-gjør at pulveret føres til den øvre del (22-26) i det nedre luftrør (20) uten å gå ned i brukerens lun-ger, gir dosen av det tørre pulver en konsentrasjon i den øvre del (22-26) tilstrekkelig til å gi en effek-tiv haloterapi. Det foretrukne partikkelstørrelsesom-råde er 5 - 2 0 um. Den foretrukne dose er ca. 3 mg. pulver.
