Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for å forenkle måling av et sende- nivå, samt en basestasjon. Basestasjonen beveger sin kringkasting (BCCH) fra en tidsluke (10-17) til en annen slik at kringkastingen (BCCH) sendes i forskjellige tidsluker i suksessive rammer (20-23). Terminalutstyr mottar kringkastingen (BCCH) og sammenligner signalstyrke som mottas fra forskjellige basestasjoner.
