Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for forbedring av kaldtflyteegenskapene til brennstoffoljer med et svovelinnhold på mindre enn 500 ppm og et innhold av n-parafiner med kjedelengde C)eller lengre som er minst 8 vekt-%, kjennetegnet ved tilsetningen av additiv inneholdende en blanding av enten. Videre er det beskrevet additiver for forbedring av kaldtflyteegenskapene av mineraloljer og mineraloljedestillater såvel som brennstoffolje som inneholder slike additiver.
