Abstract

Innretning for anbringelse foran øynene, slik som en brille (10) eller solbrille forsynt med en linse (16) med en innleiret fiberoptikk eller optisk bølgeleder gitter for å frembringe et interaktivt lysfelt (ILF) ved den bakre delen til brukerens øyner. For at brukeren skal kunne se klart gjenom glassene faller styrt lys fra perifrien av pupillen ved en vinkel slik at hoved bildet (det vil si ekstern omgivelse sene) faller inn perpendikulært på pupillen. ELF'en følger pupillen under bruk av den innleirede fiberoptiske gitteret. Brukerens hjerne stimuleres for å justere eller opprettholde en circardisk søvn rytme på tross av naturlig lys påvirkning. Anordningen har anvendelse for eksempel ved demping av effekten døgnvillhet ved overatlantisk flygning (jetlag) eller for hjelpe skiftarbeidere for justering til et nytt skift.
