Abstract

Apparat (100, 300, 400, 600, 1302) og fremgangsmåte for hurtig analyse av prøver for å undersøke om prøvene inne- holder analytter av interesse, basert på immunfluorescensanalyse av homogent materiale. Apparatet er i form av en kassett med en høykonsentrasjonsdel for referansemåling, en tilsvarende lavkonsen- trasjonsdel, også for referansemåling, og en måledel for undersøkelsene. Disse deler har minst en forhåndsinnlagt reagens i et reagensrom (106), mens lavkonsentrasjons- delen inneholder en kjent lav konsentrasjon av en analytt av interesse, og høykonsentrasjonsdelen en tilsvarende høy konsentrasjon av en tilsvarende analytt. Apparatet omfatter en biosensor med en plan bølgeleder (164) med plane grenseflater (166, 500, 501) og en kant mellom dem. Kanten har et opptaksområde 126 for å motta en innfallende lysstråle (170). Måle- og ref eransedelene har et rom med en bølgelederf late som danner den ene grenseflate ( 500) og hvor analyttens (503) molekyler (510) får kontakt med bindings- molekyler (504) på grenseflaten (500).
